Accepting a Credential Offer

Overview​

This guide walks you through accepting a credential offer in the Desk UI wallet. The offer URL is generated by the issuer and the format varies depending on the issuance protocol.

Prerequisites​

  • Permissions to accept credentials

  • A credential offer URL from the issuer, for example:

    • haip-vci://credential_offer?credential_offer=%7B%22credential_issuer...
    • openid-credential-offer://?credential_offer_uri=https%3A%2F%2F...

Steps​

  1. Navigate to the Wallet

  • Click Wallet in the left sidebar
  • Click Interact

  1. Enter the offer URL

  • Paste the credential offer URL into the Interaction URL field
  • Click Interact

  1. Accept the credential

  • Select a key from the Holder dropdown
  • If prompted, enter the transaction code → Continue
  • Click Accept
